One day (years ago) I happened to notice the corals and seaweed living under a boat dock and I was immediately curious. Wanting a better look at what was under there, I bought an underwater camera and was instantly in awe of the other world that was literally underfoot. Under Sea Seven is named after the dock that started it all!
Over the years, what began as a curiosity has grown to include photography of animals and nature - taking a second to look around and under and above to see something new or see something familiar but in a different way.
So what to do with the photos...? I began making coasters, resin art and some home decor but I am so excited to have returned to painting again over the last couple of years.
